Land of Dreams

I come from a journey and stories I bring.
Tales where chicken and cows could sing.
A place where the impossible can be;
Only where princes and kings would ask to marry me.

It is a time where knights and dragons live.
If I tell you there is magic, would you believe?
I shook hands with squirrels and danced with flowers.
I saved dainty damsels trapped in enchanted towers.

I built a castle out of paper and strings.
I visited a pixie and borrowed her wings.
I jumped on the moon and landed on a flea
I went around the world in a gigantic bee.

It seems funny; it seems untrue.
You ask if I’m making a fool out of you.
There’s no such place as though it seems...
But I tell you there is really a land of dreams.
