Living the Life

A life lived untouched is unblessed
Each day you toil will be worthless
Just an empty, drudging routine.

Hearts unloved grow cold with time
Like autumn leaves they wrinkle and dry
Until only a cold black stone remains.

Unlocked faith thaws a frozen soul
In believing, a new dawn awakens
A caged solitary spirit is given liberty.

A newfound hope will touch a life
Blessings will pour as abundant as rain
Then begins the true meaning of living.
