Nature Dawning

The pink blush creeps stealthily on my cheeks
In one gulp I down my daily caffeine dose
And I walked cheerfully as the sun rose
Out of the snow-white puffy clouds it peeks.

I smell the dew still present in the air
The redbreast robins celebrate the day.
In a chorus, Nature boasts her display.
The elements embark on their daily affair.

Darkness is chased by the breaking of dawn
The sky’s painted with pastel-colored hues
A dyed surface atop a canvas of blue
Another morning, a new day has begun.
